Allo Support – Off-Grid Messaging Documentation

Find step-by-step guides for the Allo mobile app, client devices, repeaters, web dashboard, admin setup, and troubleshooting — all in one place.

Allo is an off-grid messaging system that works without internet or mobile networks. This support site covers everything you need to install the app, pair your device, use the dashboard, and resolve common issues.

How Allo Works

Allo combines a mobile app with dedicated radio hardware to deliver messages even when standard networks are down. Your phone communicates with an Allo device over Bluetooth, and the device relays messages over a local radio mesh — no internet required.

1

Install the Allo app

Download Allo on your Android or iOS device and accept the invitation from your organisation.

2

Connect your Allo device

Enable Bluetooth and pair the app with your Allo hardware to join the mesh network.

3

Send a message

Choose a contact or group and send your first off-grid message.

4

Explore the dashboard

Administrators can manage users, devices, and groups from the web dashboard.
