Troubleshoot Allo Dashboard Login and Access Problems

Resolve Allo dashboard login issues — find your invite email, handle expired invites, reset your password, and check browser compatibility.

The Allo web dashboard is the administration interface for managing users, devices, groups, and logs within your organisation. Access is by invitation only — there is no public sign-up. If you are having trouble logging in, this guide covers the most common causes and how to resolve them.

Before you start

Dashboard access requires an active invitation from your organisation administrator. If you have never received an invite email, you do not yet have access — contact your administrator and ask them to send you an invitation from the Users section of the dashboard.

The Allo dashboard is a separate system from the mobile app. Your app account and your dashboard account are managed independently. Having the app installed does not automatically give you dashboard access.

Common problems and solutions

I can't find my invite email

Dashboard invitations are sent by email from the Allo platform. Check the following:

  1. Search your inbox for "Allo" or "allo-messaging" — the email may have been filtered automatically.
  2. Check your spam or junk mail folder. Invite emails are sometimes incorrectly flagged by spam filters, particularly in organisation mail systems.
  3. Check that your administrator sent the invite to the correct email address. If you use multiple addresses, confirm which one was used.
  4. If you still can't find the email, ask your administrator to resend the invitation. They can do this from the Users section of the dashboard by finding your entry and selecting Resend invite.
My invite link has expired

Invite links are valid for a limited time. If you click a link and see a message that it has expired or is no longer valid, the link cannot be reused.

Ask your administrator to send a new invitation. They will need to:

  1. Open the Users section in the dashboard.
  2. Find your user entry (or create a new one if you are not yet listed).
  3. Select Resend invite or Invite user to generate a fresh link.

Once you receive the new email, complete your account setup promptly — invite links do not stay active indefinitely.

Never share your invite link with anyone else. It is personal to your account and grants access to your organisation's dashboard. If you believe your link was seen by an unauthorised person, notify your administrator immediately so they can revoke it and issue a new one.

I forgot my password or my password doesn't work

If you have already completed the invite and set up your account but cannot log in:

  1. Go to the dashboard login page.
  2. Click Forgot password beneath the login form.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account and submit the form.
  4. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a password-reset email and follow the link to set a new password.

If you do not receive the reset email within a few minutes, confirm with your administrator that your account is active and that the correct email address is registered. An administrator can also trigger a new invite to let you set up your credentials from scratch.

I completed the invite but still can't log in

If you went through the invite flow, set a password, and are still blocked at the login screen:

  • Double-check your email address. Copy and paste it rather than typing it, to avoid typos.
  • Check for a leading or trailing space. Some autofill systems add invisible spaces to pasted email addresses or passwords.
  • Try a different browser or incognito/private mode. Browser extensions, cached credentials, or cookie issues can interfere with the login flow.
  • Clear the browser cache and cookies for the dashboard domain, then try again.
  • If none of the above helps, contact your administrator and ask them to check whether your account is active and has the correct role assigned.
I see an 'access denied' or 'not authorised' error after logging in

This means your account exists but does not have permission to access the section you are trying to reach. Dashboard access is role-based — not all users have full access to every part of the dashboard.

Contact your administrator and ask them to review your permissions in the Users section. They can assign or update your role to give you access to the areas you need.

Browser compatibility

The Allo dashboard is a modern web application. It works best in up-to-date versions of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome (current version)
  • Mozilla Firefox (current version)
  • Microsoft Edge (current version, Chromium-based)
  • Safari (current version, macOS and iOS)

If the dashboard looks broken, buttons are not responding, or you see a blank white page, try opening it in a private/incognito window first. If it works there, the issue is likely a cached resource or a browser extension interfering. Clear your browser cache or temporarily disable extensions to resolve it.

Multi-factor authentication

If your organisation has enabled multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the dashboard, you will be prompted for a verification code after entering your password. This code is delivered to the email address on your account or via an authenticator app, depending on how your administrator has configured it. If you are not receiving the code:

  • Check your spam folder for the verification email.
  • Make sure the email address on your account is current — ask your administrator if you are unsure.
  • If you use an authenticator app and the codes are not accepted, check that the clock on your phone is set to the correct time automatically (time drift causes authenticator codes to become invalid).

Still locked out?

If you have tried all of the above and still cannot access the dashboard, contact your organisation administrator. They have the ability to reset your credentials, reissue an invite, and verify your account status. If your administrator is also unable to resolve the issue, they can contact Allo support on your behalf.
